BT Broadband 8Mb

BT has announced that they are to start trialling 8Mb broadband in 53 exchanges. If successful BT's new "Max" service will be rolled out to the 5,300 broadband enabled exchanges across the UK .

BT's maximum download speed will be raised from 2Mb to 8Mb. Although BT "Max" 8Mb high speed broadband is due to be rolled out to all BT's broadband enabled exchanges actually achieving 8Mb will depend on your location and line.

BT's "Max" 8Mb broadband should be available in spring 2006.
