Talk Talk, which owns Tiscali, confirmed that the Tiscali brand will be no more from 7th January 2010. As part of the rebrand, TalkTalk plans to move Tiscali customers over onto the TalkTalk network. The company says that the move will allow customers to benefit from a more reliable service and faster broadband speeds. TalkTalk reckons that for most customers the migration will result in them paying a lower monthly price than now. But a number of people will have to pay more if they wish to use TalkTalk as their phone and broadband provider. The full migration of Tiscali customers to the TalkTalk network is expected to take place over the coming year.
Alternatively, ex-Tiscali customers can switch to Plusnet broadband and take advantage of 3 months free broadband including free connection and a free easy setup wireless router. Just enter the promotion code 'tiscalisave' on the payment details screen. Additionally, existing Plusnet customers with friends using Tiscali can recommend this great Plusnet deal to them, and they'll give them £25 John Lewis Vouchers for free too! Their friends just need to add in their 'username' when prompted on the order. Eight out of 10 customers already recommend PlusNet to friends and family. This great offer ends 31st January 2010!
